This is a further improved version of our popular roadster seat. It fits the Yamaha SR500 and SR400 pre FI models.

It is also possible to fit to the Yamaha XS650 with light modification.

Upholstered in black naugahyde with black stitching / black piping, white stitching / black piping, black stitching / white piping, white stitching / white piping, light brown naugahyde / white stitching.

Built on a light weight fiberglass base, the complete seat weighs just 1600 grams (3.5 lbs). This offers an affordable way to shed some weight and improve the looks of your SR cafe racer project.

This third version has a dramatically improved fit and finish, rivaling similar seats from Japan. Pleats have been stitched rather than welded. 6mm mounting bolts are included.

Note: If you are fitting to a 1978 SR, you will need to cut and remove the rear frame bridge to prevent interference. Later models do not have this.
